Alison Doody

Alison Doody was born in Dublin in the Republic of Ireland, on the 11th of November 1996. She is a model as well an Irish actress. Her debut in a feature film was a tiny role on The James Bond film A View to a Kill. (1985). In the following film she played the Nazi-sympathising archaeologist Elsa Schneider (Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade 1989). In 1988, she appeared with Pierce Brosnan on the movie Taffin. Her most recognizable part to date was that of Austrian Nazi sympathizer and archaeologist Doctor Elsa Schneider opposite Harrison Ford in the 1989 film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Doody played alongside Sean Connery in the film, as Indy's dad. Doody played alongside Jonathan Pryce as Hitler Diaries which was a British mini-series based on Hitler Diaries. Doody later moved to Hollywood. She played Flannery as Flannery in Major League II, opposite Charlie Sheen. Doody was away from acting for almost 10 years, came back 2003 for a minor role on The Actors, a British comedy The Actors in which Michael Caine appeared as her in a scene during an award ceremony. The year 2004, she starred alongside Patrick Swayze alongside a TV version of King Solomon's Mines. Also Doody was on Benjamin's Struggle (2005), a pamphlet describing the Holocaust. Doody played a small role in Danny Dyer's movie The Rapture (2010). Doody appeared on RTE's medical drama The Clinic. The project was later canceled. The year 2011 saw her debut on the first of two seasons in the E4 comedy show Beaver Falls playing Pam Jefferson. She was a part of We Still Kill the Old Way in 2014, a documentary. In November of 2018, she was honored by the Almeria the tierra de cine prize as well as a star in Almeria Walk of Fame.
